Out to dinner and they had this awesome grunge looking counter! Also the place is called Chato in Thornbury and it is amazing!!!

Day 23, love the twisty bits in this one. However I'm going to have to change up my routes of where I go! Find some new inspiration!

Now this little flower guy close up reminds me of Velcro. But love the shapes and the vibrancy.

Can't believe I forgot again!!! So thought this could be quite an awesome geometric pattern. Like the strong lines.

And today's pattern is a piece that I really like. Some grunge checkered pattern. It's where posters had been pasted and ripped off and there are layers of them still there.

I came across this tree that had been pulled out and left by the street. It had been in a square pot and I thought its roots looked awesome pressed up into that shape. Also I have now become that weirdo that stops and takes photos of random things. Ah well, it is definitely making me more observant.

Summer is upon us and I am excited about all the beautiful floral and fauna that is around me as I walk to and from work. I have also been inspired by all the beautiful patterns that exist in nature and have decided to record these better in order to gain more inspiration for my own pattern design.

For 30 days I am going to post a photo of 1 pattern that I have come across in my own surroundings everyday. My hope is that this will open my eyes and observations even more to find loads more inspiration to work with.
